According to a recent press release, on 12th July, Neufund announced that Founders Bank, a Maltese company will be launching its first Equity Token Offering [ETO] on its platform with Binance, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Binance is now a part of Neufund’s community of investors and invests in Founders Bank. Neufund is a Berlin-based private equity fundraising platform and is one of the first projects to join Malta’s blockchain ecosystem.
Founders Bank aims to deliver progressive FinTech solutions to the world of innovation and blockchain. Founders Bank has already secured investments from notable crypto companies, including Binance as the anchor investors.
Changpeng Zhao, Founder, and CEO at Binance said:
“We are not only excited to be one of the first investors of this inclusive community for this pioneering initiative, but also look forward to explore the full range of its banking services. We continue to be delighted by the vibrant blockchain opportunities in Malta, and look forward to launching more partnerships in the region.”
Later in 2018, the equity token offering conducted on Neufund under German regulation will collaborate with one of the major stock exchanges in Europe. This will permit all market participants to become ‘part-owners’ of Founders Bank.
This is pioneering as it will allow clients to decide on the development of the solutions based on smart contracts.
Michael Bianchi, Chairman, and Co-founder at Founders Bank said:
“We’re proud to announce our progressive banking solutions tailored for the needs of decentralised companies, with already existing support from the leaders of the blockchain industry, including Binance and Neufund. I am excited about the upcoming equity token offering when everyone will be able to become the co-owner of the company and shape the future of banking with us!”
